I knew that I wanted to be an artist ever since I ate my first crayon. It was “electric lime” (I learned how to read really early, I wasn’t eating crayons in second grade or anything). I’m sure it didn’t taste very good, but the look on my mother’s face when it came back up was priceless.
I’m a 3d artist and animator currently living in downtown Culver City. I am interested in visual effects and motion graphics for film and television; my main interest is the modeling, lighting, and texturing of 3d environments. In my spare time I try to learn as much as I can about everything surrounding my field to keep myself from running into something I don’t know how to do. I am currently in the process of learning more about compositing and fluid effects.
Other than 3d and the occasional website revamp, I also draw, paint and play with my food. I studied fine art for a few years and worked as a mural artist. I also spent nearly 10 years as a caricature artist, so I tend to have a very specific sense of humor. I like cooking, enjoy eating, and love feeding people, so I’m always down for barbecues and block parties.
I’m available for freelance and commissions, so feel free to email me with questions regarding either.
